Description
Pair of vintage Hunter Chairs designed by Torbjørn Afdal and produced by Bruksbo, Norway, in the 1960s.
A celebrated Scandinavian Modern design, the Hunter Chair is defined by its sculptural timber frame, suspended leather sling seat, button‑tufted leather cushions, and leather‑wrapped armrests.
This pair comes from a single family who owned them with pride for over 50 years, passed from mother to daughter, giving them a rare continuity of care and provenance.
The chairs present beautifully with warm patina, strong structure, and the unmistakable presence that has made the Hunter one of Afdal’s most iconic works.
