Description
A standout piece from Tessa’s iconic T4 range, this lamp table (also suited as a compact coffee table) showcases the brand’s signature blend of sculptural form and minimalist elegance. Designed in the 1970s by Fred Lowen, the table features a smoked glass top resting on a bent beechwood frame finished in factory-applied limed white—a rare and distinctive finish that softens the timber’s tone while highlighting its grain.
The smoked glass adds depth and contrast, while the curved frame reflects the Scandinavian influence that shaped much of Tessa’s mid-century output. It’s a quietly confident piece—refined, functional, and unmistakably Australian.
