These Halifax accent chairs by Gus* Modern offers a stylish, industrial look with a contemporary twist. The fabric is a rich Hanson Navy, and the chair features faceted upholstery panels on a powder-coated steel frame. The solid wood paddle armrests, with exposed ply edges and a walnut finish, add warmth to the bold design. The armrests are finished with an oil-based polyurethane, and bumpers on the legs help protect hardwood floors. The cushions, made with high-resiliency foam and Dacron wrap, provide lasting comfort.
Only a few years old and still nearly new, these chairs retail for around $2,500 AUD each.
