Description

Floating desk top dressing table. A classic fresco desk or dresser , with two double sets of drawers and a central drawer for jewelry.

This dressing table is from the 60s and is made of a teak veneer.

The Mirror can be removed if you wish to use as a desk.

Background Information

G Plan were a British Furniture maker. The fresco range Launched in the 1960s was the most popular range of furniture sold by G plan, designed by V.B. Wilkins and heavy inspired by Danish \ Scandinavian design.

Condition & Dimensions

Has a few patina marks on the top, but overall in fantastic condition . Table has been cleaned and oiled, ready for a new home.

Designed by iconic AUSTRALIAN furniture designer Fred Lowen for Tessa Furniture. Tessa Furniture ceased trading as of June 2019, making these pieces even harder to find.

Some wear constant with age . A couple of chips to the ply wood. Leather is in fantastic condition.

Background Information

Tessa ( formally TWEN) became Tessa in 1970 after Fred Lowen and Partner Eric sold the Previously company FLER. Fred Lowed and Brother Howard started making furniture under the Tessa Name.

Australian Mid Century Modern furniture influenced by Scandinavian design…Australian Furniture at it best!…and BTW very expensive at the time to purchase.

Tessa Furniture ceased trading as of June 2019, making these pieces even harder to find.

Condition & Dimensions

the lounge suite is in Original Condition. The fabric has some bits of fading .

All upholstery has been professionally cleaned .

Background Information

All designed and made by iconic Australian designers Fred lowen and Ernest Rodeck . Fler was started in 1946 by the two friends combining their initials they gave the business the Name FLER. Made and manufactured in Melbourne. These chairs heavily ( in my opinion) influenced the Tessa T1 range of Lounge ‘s, Later designed by Fred Lowen.

Classic Chiswell 1960’s design, with sculpted waves handles and Cigar legs. This Compact Danish inspired sideboard is made of Teak and shows a wonderful grain on the doors and Top.
