Designed in 1974 by Italian designer Gigi Sabadin for Crassevig, this Arca folding chair is a refined example of 1970s Italian mid-century design. Featuring a graceful double-arched bentwood frame in light ash and a hand-woven rattan seat, it combines elegant sculptural lines with practical folding functionality. Lightweight yet sturdy, the chair stands out for its perfect balance of minimalist beauty, comfort, and space-saving versatility – a true classic that received an honourable mention at the 1979 Compasso d’Oro.
