These chairs are extremely comfortable. The footstool seems a little oversized..but the chair is the perfect size…the chair also reclines, only slightly but just enough to for an arvo Nap.

Background Information
Quoted from Danish Deluxe website – “Danish De Luxe was founded in 1958 by Neville Ashkanasy, John Westacott and Borg Gjorstvang. Based in Huntingdale Victoria, Danish De Luxe was a Melbourne furniture design and manufacturing company. Designing inhouse contemporary mid-century modern furniture often influenced by Scandinavian design, DDL also commissioned leading local Australian Designers, including George Kral and Maggie May. DDL also manufactured the Grant and Mary Featherson “Talking Chair MKII”.
Condition
Good vintage condition chair, very sturdy and well made…1 Tear to the leather which has been repaired ( see pics).
Leather has been cleaned and the color refreshed.
1 bit of veneer missing on the back ..see pics
