Description
A classic of Australian mid-century design, the Fler 64 dining chair blends sculptural restraint with everyday comfort. Designed by Fred Lowen for Fler Furniture in the 1960s, this model is instantly recognisable for its curved backrest, tapered legs, and clean, architectural lines.
This set of six has been beautifully preserved. The frames are in excellent condition and appear to have been professionally restored in the not-too-distant past. We’ve revived the timber with Danish oils to bring out the grain and tone, while respecting the integrity of the original finish. The upholstery is not original—it was added during restoration and features a richly patterned floral fabric that adds warmth and character to the set These chairs are not just functional—they’re part of Australia’s design legacy.
