Background Information
Quoted from Danish Deluxe website – “Danish De Luxe was founded in 1958 by Neville Ashkanasy, John Westacott and Borg Gjorstvang. Based in Huntingdale Victoria, Danish De Luxe was a Melbourne furniture design and manufacturing company. Designing inhouse contemporary mid-century modern furniture often influenced by Scandinavian design, DDL also commissioned leading local Australian Designers, including George Kral and Maggie May. DDL also manufactured the Grant and Mary Featherson “Talking Chair MKII”.
Condition
Leather has been recently professionally upholstered. and doesn’t have a mark on it. Canvas was alos replaced with the new upholstery . Frame is very good condition, but has a few marks on the back where its rubbed against a wall.
