Much sort after Fler Narvik Mid-Century Day bed,  designed and made in the 1960s by Fler.

The Narvik 3 seater sofa with sculptured frame can be folded down  into a Day bed . This is the drop down back model with supporting legs to make a spare bed.

Frame has been refinished.

Featuring new high density foam and new upholstery using the new Octavia fabric range by Zepel Fabrics , this fabric is a heavy duty upholstery fabric and is stain resistant and easy to clean ….Also Machine Washable ( See instructions on Zepel Website)

The Octavia Fabric Has a thick Woven Appearance reminiscent of Mid Century Fabrics

Background Information

designed and made by iconic Australian designers Fred lowen and Ernest Rodeck . Fler was started in 1946 by the two friends combining their initials they gave the business the Name FLER. Made and manufactured in Melbourne.

Condition

New Octavia Upholstery by Zepel Fabrics as mentioned. New High Density foam.

Frame has been partially restored where required ( Arms, Sides and front) the back of the frame was already in great condition and has been cleaned and waxed.
