Age: Circa 1960s–1970s
Background: Designed by Lucian Ercolani for Ercol, the Quaker series is renowned for its refined lines and exceptional comfort. The No. 428 rocking chair is a sought‑after variation, combining the Quaker backrest with a traditional rocker base.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with minor signs of age‑appropriate wear. Timber has been cleaned and revived with waxes to protect and enrich the finish. The arm tops have also been refinished. Rockers glide smoothly. Cushion is brand‑new, professionally upholstered in Zepel fabric.
