Background Information
Scheurich is one of the most famous names in West German pottery, especially from the mid-20th century. Founded in 1928 by Franz Scheurich, the company originally focused on household ceramics, but by the 1950s and 60s, it became a powerhouse in creating decorative ceramics and vases. This period coincides with the West German “fat lava” style, which featured thick, bold glazes and vivid, textured finishes.
Condition
The vase is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. It also retains its original Scheurich sticker, adding to its authenticity and charm
