PAUL FRANKL PRETZEL CANE ARM CHAIR (Sold)

A very stylish and Vintage 4 Strand Pretzel Chair with Outdoor grade Fabric on the Seats.

Attributed to Paul Frankl as Paul Frankl chairs aren’t stamped, this is certain the same design as a Paul Frankl Chair.

The chair is a very comfortable chair, quite a wide chair, plenty of room and it has a nice upright position.

The foam is firm , the cushions are grey with red piping…not the greatest choice in my opinion ( someone once liked it!) , but can easily be changed for less than $150 as the foam can be reused.

Great investment piece.

The Cane is in good vintage condition, for me part of the appeal with Vintage cane is the worn and aged condition ..if you want perfect , cane is easily avaible in new condition.

The frame is sturdy and has been checked, NO Rotten Cane, NO Water damaged Cane, All bindings are present.

The Cane has been lightly cleaned and oiled with Linseed Oil….Again I want to kept the vintage look.

Seats have been cleaned.

Vintage Cane Oval Dining Table (Sold)

I love this Table, it looks fantastic in Person. I hope the pictures capture how wonderful the table is. This isn’t your standard mass produced round cane table, available everywhere… this table is Oval and I’ve never seen one like it!

Made from Tiger cane with a clear glass top, Probably came from Europe.

I’d say this table is 40-60 years old, and has been kept inside all of its life.

4 person table…6 would be a bit of a squeeze but possible.

From humble beginnings, selling chairs Dagger had crafted from packing palettes, the company quickly grew to six employees, making government tender furniture and ammunition boxes during the war.

Originally, the company made mainly traditional style furniture – reproductions of antique or art deco styles. Vintage Scandinavian Kroken Chair (Sold)

Black Leather chair with Teak Bentwood Frame. Lovely Scandinavian Design .

This is the same Design as the Swedish Kroken Chair by Ake Fribytter for Mobel . I believe these chairs were made on License by Australian Furniture maker Danish Deluxe . The chair has no Makers Mark, but the design is unmistakable…its made by one of the two mentioned…its a Kroken Chair either way.

The chair is slightly titled back , perfect for relaxing in and it even rocks ( kind bounces like a baby chair )..The chair is nice and wide as well…A Surprisingly comfortable chair.

Quoted from Danish Deluxe website – “Danish De Luxe was founded in 1958 by Neville Ashkanasy, John Westacott and Borg Gjorstvang. Based in Huntingdale Victoria, Danish De Luxe was a Melbourne furniture design and manufacturing company. Designing inhouse contemporary mid-century modern furniture often influenced by Scandinavian design, DDL also commissioned leading local Australian Designers, including George Kral and Maggie May. Condition & Dimensions

The chair is in nice condition with only some light wearing to the leather. Canvas has been cheeked and appears to be in really good condition. Teak frame is also very good condition, with no Chips or Damage to the Veneer frame

6 x ERCOL Goldsmith Windsor (model 369) Dining Chairs (Sold)

This is a nice set of Ercol dining chairs. They are the Goldsmith model 369

These are iconic chairs. They have such a timeless design. Made from Elm and Beech Wood i believe.

I also have the original cushions, which clip on ( not photographed ) .

They are all stamped underneath with the Ercol marking ‘BS CF 1960 2056’ – Marking is worn on some chairs….these chairs cannot be mistaken for any other maker.

TH Brown Fondue \ Coffee Table (Sold)

Highly sort after TH Brown Fondue table with Original Stools. Would have been originally made in the 1960s, always much sort after by mid-century enthusiasts and collectors.

Probably one of the most recognizable Australian designed coffee tables to date! TH Brown started making furniture again recently, but not this table

Originally Design as a fondue table, with “Fondue” being popularized in the 60s and 70s..but this will make an awesome coffee table, or little table for the kids.

These chairs are attributed to the original designer as there is no makers Mark. The Original Chairs designed by Giovanni 1965 also had no makers mark.

The curved Cane structure is achieved by the use of fire.

The cushion’s has been professionally reupholstered in a quality White fleck fabric.

Gorgeous Parker-Eames-Cintique Retro-Vintage Armchair (Sold)

A beautiful Mid-Century chair made by Australian Furniture maker Cintique . These chairs are an iconic Australian chair with the Clawed armrests .

These chairs were recently reupholstered ( including new foam) , they look and feel new. A quality fabric was used, which is evident. The colours are a little subjective I find.

The cost of the upholstery and foam alone for each chair would cost more than twice the price I’m selling them for.

I have five chairs available, and 1 foot stool ( footstool is extra)

Due to the new foam, These chairs are very strong and upright….and surprisingly comfy.
